Reserve Checking Credit Line

Baybank's CheckMate account is attached to your Baybank checking account. We set aside a cash reserve that you can draw on when the need arises. When you write a check for an amount larger than your balance, we automatically transfer funds from your cash reserve into your checking account to cover your check. Just by writing a check, you've written yourself a loan with no "red tape." To repay your CheckMate loan, we automatically charge your account for the minimum monthly payments based on 5% of your outstanding loan balance. The interest on the loan is charged to your account.

Overdraft protection automatically covers your checking account overdrafts with advances from a line of credit.
